Oliver International Sunshine Festival Parade 2012!

Community involvement is very important to us at RE/MAX Wine Capital Realty.  We have participated in the Sunshine Festival, and many other community activities, since we opened our doors in 2006.   We would like to give a special thank you to those who donated their time to this year’s parade: Mathew & Jodie Lewis for their wonderful float decorations and set up, Karen Lewis, Maria MacCarthy, Pam Giroux, Craig & Sofie Crook (our youngest recruit!) with their never ending eager smiles and waves.

Second Annual Yard Sale for The Cure - 2010!

We recently participated in our second Annual Yard Sale for the Cure, May 29, 2010.  Although, Oliver did experience wetter weather than last year, we were determined to have a successful yard sale come rain or shine! 

Everyone strived to make YSC 2010 bigger and better than 2009 and we are proud to report that RE/MAX Wine Capital Realty surpassed all expectations! 

Thanks to all the donations, participants, and everyone’s hard work we raised approximately $1,500 which is almost double from last year!!  It is extremely rewarding to be a part of such a worthy cause and we are all looking forward to YSC 2011!

      

Fundraising for our Local Food Bank!

November 28th, 2009 RE/MAX Wine Capital Realty held a fundraiser to help our local Food bank build shelves & stock them! Our hard working Agents were found in front of the Oliver Super Valu & Buylow Foods braving the weather and encouraging others to share in the Spirit of the Season.

We raised approximately $250 cash and another $250 worth of non-perishable food items. Generosity and the Spirit of Giving is alive and well in our community!

We will be back out again in front of Buylow Foods & Super Valu in January/February as we will continue until the money for the shelves & food is achieved!

Annual Yard Sale for The Cure

RE/MAX Wine Capital Realty participated in our first Annual Yard Sale for The Cure May 30, 2009. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or better company. Many new and old faces came to browse and say hi. The turnout was incredible and over $600.00 was raised! All proceeds went to the BC Cancer Foundation.

   

On behalf of everyone at Wine Capital Realty, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who donated their time and treasures to help make the yard sale a huge success!! We are looking forward to next year’s event and we are eager to make it even bigger and better. Please call us anytime for pick-ups of your treasures for the 2010 sale! We have “Storage for The Cure”!
